The Victorians sure knew how to throw a party, and sometimes chose the most bizarre of locations.
You've heard of the Crystal Palace dinosaurs, yes?
Famous for being joyfully unrealistic Victorian imaginations of what dinosaurs looked like, and which are now grade 1 listed.
In 1853 sculptor Benjamin Waterhouse Hawkins (pictured in his studio above) hosted a banquet for 20 people inside the mould of the Iguanadon.
And if that's not exciting enough for you, how about the celebratory dinner for 14 stonemasons which was held on top of Nelson's Column (a dizzying 52 metres above ground) in 1843 before the statue of Nelson himself was put in place.
